The Dari Mela ground here is abuzz with activities during Tourism Spring Carnival-2024. Stalls showcasing Kangra’s art and culture are attracting visitors.

Raghubir Singh Bali, Vice-Chairman, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, inaugurated the event today. Performances by an orchestra band, Brass Band by Himachal Home Guards, Jhamakra-Kangra’s traditional folk dance and a fashion show by NIFT students were the highlights of the first day of the event, which began with Saraswati Vandana.

Shiwani Negi, a folk artiste, said, “It is a historic moment as stakeholders like hotel association, paragliding association and others have joined hands for the cultural promotion of Dharamsala.”

A comedy show and Kathak performance also enthralled the audience. Kuldeep Sharma, the Natti King, was the main attraction of the evening.
