Singh said the application would enable real-time monitoring for instant supervision of field activities, accurate progress assessment and elimination of beneficiary duplication, ensuring greater transparency. It will also help maintain a centralised digital database of all horticulture and agriculture activities. The platform is available as both a mobile app and a web portal, with an upcoming feature allowing data capture without network connectivity.
During the session, officials stressed the mandatory adoption of geo-tagging and geo-fencing for all components of the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) schemes. Directions were issued for timely data uploading, creation of user IDs at departmental and field levels and strict compliance to avoid any stoppage of central funds. It was also instructed that no subsidy be released without geo-tagging and geo-fencing and that all field officers receive immediate training for user ID creation to ensure effective implementation.
