Motorists travelling on the Solan-Kumarhatti National Highway have been advised to take the Barog bypass route after 10 PM tonight due to the installation of an overbridge near Tata Motors in village Anji.

The Solan police have granted permission to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to carry out this work during nighttime hours. The installation is expected to take approximately 3-4 hours.

SP Solan Gaurav Singh stated, “Motorists using NH-5 are requested to utilise the state highway from Barog to reach their destinations.”

This construction marks the 11th overbridge being built on the Parwanoo-Kaithlighat stretch of the highway. Police personnel will be present at the construction site to ensure smooth traffic flow and minimise inconvenience for drivers, while also seeking cooperation from local residents.
