Case for causing death due to rash and negligent driving under section 281, 106(1) of BNS has been registered

The driver of an apple- laden truck was killed when his vehicle rammed into a hill due to reckless driving and turned turtle near Shamlech tunnel on the Solan- Parwanoo highway this morning around 8.30 am.

SP Solan Gaurav Singh confirmed that the mishap occurred due to reckless driving by the truck driver, Om Prakash. The vehicle ( HP 63 C 1375) carrying apples was enroute Theog- Faridabad.

The driver, who is also the owner of the truck, was killed on the spot due to fatal injuries.
