Two soldiers from Una district were injured during ‘Operation Sindoor’. The two soldiers are Gurnam Singh of Kshetran village and Beas Dev, a resident of Bathu village, both in Haroli subdivision.

The authorities have informed the family members of the injured soldiers that they are being treated at Army hospitals and are recuperating. Gurnam Singh is serving in Sikh Regiment while Beas Dev is a soldier in the Border Security Force (BSF). They were deployed near the Line of Control during ‘Operation Sindoor’ and were injured in the shelling from across the border.

In a press note issued here, Haroli MLA and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri wished a speedy recovery to the two soldiers. He directed the district administration to visit the family members and assure them of all help and assistance on behalf of the state government.

Agnihotri directed the district administration to get in touch with the Army and BSF authorities and seek information regarding the health of the two soldiers. He added that the Haroli Assembly segment was proud of its two soldiers for standing bravely in the line of duty when the country needed them the most.
