The Mandi police have arrested two suspects in connection with the attempted murder of Pradeep Guleria, a 61-year-old Dhaba owner from Dayadi village. The attack took place on March 21 at the Royal Lass Kitchen near Pulgharat, shocking the local community.

The suspects, Mohammad Azmal (25) and his brother Azam (19) from Muzaffarnagar, UP, were apprehended late on March 24. They had been living in Dangu village of Balh tehsil, and working as aluminum fitters in Mandi.

According to Mandi SP Sakshi Verma, the seriousness of the crime led to the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by the Additional Superintendent of Police (LR) and supported by four investigative teams. Using surveillance footage and dump data, the police tracked down the suspects.
