According to the complaint, Dalip Kumar attempted to run over the advocate with his car (HP53B-0006) and kill him while he was riding a Scooty. Professional rivalry was said to be behind the incident, as the advocate had previously represented a case against Dalip Kumar, resulting in his conviction. Both accused youths had also allegedly assaulted and threatened the complainant.

During investigation, Dalip Kumar was arrested from Chandigarh and Vinod Kumar from Palampur. They would be produced before court tomorrow, the SP added.
