Two arrested with 6 gm heroin in Shimla

The accused have been identifed as Manish Kumar of Deem village in Jubbal and Vikrant Chauhan of Madhan village in Jubbal.
According to reports, on Tuesday night, police received a tip that two persons who were in Khadapathar, around 34 km away from Rohru, have a contraband of chitta. Taking prompt action, police team intercepted the accused, who were in a car and also seized the contraband from their possession.
Rohru Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pramav Chauhan confirmed the report and said a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act 1985 has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
