The deceased were identified as Prem Chand (40), son of Bheem Ram, and Dinesh (36), son of Tej Ram — both residents of Gaderi village in Sunni. The accident took place on Sunday night near Jalog village when the driver lost control of the vehicle, following which it plunged into a deep gorge.

The vehicle was noticed by locals the next day, following which they called the police. A team reached the spot and recovered the bodies, which were then taken to Sunni Civil Hospital. After the post-mortem examination was conducted, the victims’ bodies were handed over to the kin.

Police officials said further investigation into the matter was underway.
