Hamirpur, February 13

Two persons were reportedly killed in a car accident near Lohakhar village in Taunidevi tehsil of the district today.

The deceased were identified as Sukhdev and Sansar Chand, both of Gwaradu village of the district. It was learnt that the driver lost control on a sharp curve of the road and the car rolled down a gorge. Both died in the mishap.

Arjit Sen Thakurm Superintendent of Policem said a case had been registered and the bodies of the deceased would be given to the families after post-mortem. The investigation was also initiated into the accident, he added.
