Two migrants from Bihar were killed after being buried under muck and boulders at Gahar village in Gulhari panchayat near Dharampur last night. The incident occurred when landslide occurred on a hill and the debris fell on the shanties erected for the workers.

The victims were identified as Sukhari Mukhiya (31) and Bes Mukhiya (46) and they hailed from East Champaran district of Bihar. They were working as labourers and residing in the shanties at the work site where private flats were being constructed. They had come here about four days ago.

Solan Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said both were buried under muck and debris, which fell on their shanty from the hill above. Their bodies have been sent to the local hospital for the postmortem examination.
