Uhl power project in Mandi generates Rs 100 crore revenue

The Uhl Stage-III project, operated by the Beas Valley Power Corporation under the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEBL), has generated Rs 100 crore in revenue as on August 16. HPSEBL chairman Sanjay Gupta thanked Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for financial assistance to the board to complete this project.
The project began power production in the last week of January 2025 and is now operating at full capacity of 100 MW. The chairman said that the project, located in Mandi district, would produce 389 million units of electricity in this financial year, generating around Rs 200 crore in revenue.
