Dr Meenakshi Kanwar Chauhan, a native of Amb in Una, has once again brought laurels to Himachal by being named among the world’s top scientists for the fourth consecutive year in Stanford University’s prestigious global rankings. An alumna of the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, she currently serves as a faculty member at the Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University.

Expressing gratitude, she credited India’s advanced research ecosystem and spirit of innovation for her success. The daughter of Kanwar Gurbax Singh, Nambardar of Amb, Dr Meenakshi received her early education in Una—where her journey of scientific excellence began.
