The deceased has been identified as Akash Thakur, a resident of Ambota village in Amb tehsil, Una. According to the police, a search and rescue operation was launched after they received information about the incident on August 27. The police had searched the river and nearby areas, but without success. A police team reached the spot on the receipt of information that a body was lying near the hydroelectric project on August 12 night. The body was later identified to be that of Akash by his relatives. TNS
