The body of an unidentified man was found on the Baddi-Nalagarh highway at Malpur village this morning.

A team of police headed by DSP Priyank Gupta rushed to the spot. The preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased was beaten to death and then his body was thrown on the highway.

A team of forensic experts was requisitioned at the spot to gather evidence and efforts are underway to gather clues from CCTV cameras.

The police have registered a case of murder under Section 302 of the IPC.
