The Barotiwala police arrested Ajaib Singh (27), a resident of Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh, last evening for impersonating as a police sub-inspector and forcibly taking away the motorcycle of Rohit Kumar, a resident of Ramsheher, on April 9.

Additional SP, Baddi, Ashok Verma said that a complaint from Rohit Kumar was received at Barotiwala police station on April 20. He stated in the complaint that on April 9, Ajaib Singh, while posing as a police sub-inspector, took away his motorcycle (HP12Q-8043) by deceit. The Barotiwala police registered a case on his complaint.

The police arrested Ajaib Singh, a resident of Madhopur Pattipura village in Jaunpur of Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, the Baddi police had arrested two Haryana residents for impersonating as police officers and looting truck drivers in the industrial town.
