Head of Department Dr SK Sharma, scientists, other staff and students participated enthusiastically.

Over 100 lime and hill lemon (galgal) plants were planted during the event.

Dr Sharma emphasised the critical role of afforestation in combating soil erosion and supporting conservation efforts. He encouraged students and staff to actively participate in similar initiatives and ensure the survival of the trees they plant.
