Walsh Eleven emerged victorious by defeating Bosco Eleven in the finals of the football tournament that was organised by the St Edwards Old Boys Association.

The tournament, that kicked off on June 15, featured four teams named after former principals of St Edwards School.

After the league matches, an exciting final match took place between Bosco Eleven and Walsh Eleven. The match ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, leading to a penalty shootout, where Walsh Eleven emerged victorious over Bosco with a 6-5 score.

Distinguished guests at the event included principal Anil Siqueira, retired Justice Deepak Gupta and the association’s president Kapil Dev Sood. The tournament was the part of the school’s centenary celebrations marking 100 years since its establishment in 1925.
