The Himachali students, too, may be allowed to put up in the hostels, provided they have a ‘distance certificate’ stating that the nearest examination centre is more than 50 km away from their residence. This certificate should be duly issued or countersigned by the Executive Magistrate, not below the rank of Tehsildar. In case, any student is unable to take the examination due to Covid-related reason, he/she will be given an opportunity to appear in special examinations, which may be conducted by the university, as and when feasible.
