In a heartfelt tribute to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on the occasion of his 90th birthday and in celebration of the “Year of Compassion,” the Tong-Len Charitable Trust, in collaboration with the Nyingma Monastery, has announced a week-long free health camp across various villages in the Lahaul and Spiti district. Scheduled from May 25 to May 29, the initiative aims to bring vital healthcare services directly to underserved and remote communities.

The camp is part of the Guton programme, a broader initiative reflecting Tong-Len’s long-standing mission to uplift marginalised populations through both preventive and curative healthcare. Each day, the mobile medical team will travel to different villages, offering services from 10.30 am to 5 pm, except on the final day when the camp will conclude an hour earlier at 4 pm.
