Lieut-General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command, recently met Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla to enhance civil-military cooperation in the region. The discussion centreed on strengthening ties between the armed forces and civil administration, especially on issues impacting the border state, such as coordination between the Rajya Sainik Board and Rashtriya Military School in Chail.

Both emphasised the importance of unified efforts to tackle shared challenges, improve security and support the development and welfare of the region. Governor Shukla expressed appreciation for the Army’s crucial assistance during natural disasters, pledging support for initiatives benefiting serving personnel and veterans.
