FOR the convenience of the pedestrians, stairs had been built to connect Sector 3 of New Shimla with the BCS area. Unfortunately, some of these stairs are in a bad shape. The old Kota stones were removed by the contractor almost two months ago. However, no further work has been done. The authorities must fix a timeline for contractors to finish the work while inviting tenders.

Malfunctioning streetlights

THE streetlights on the Chhota Shimla-Mall Road strech are not working. Due to this, people commuting on the road, especially during the night, have to face a lot of inconvenience. The authorities concerned are requested to make sure that these streetlights work properly.
