THE stray dog menace on the Ridge and the Mall has become a headache for locals as well as tourists. Packs of stray dogs can be seen in these areas, often attacking and biting people. Due to this, it has become very difficult to walk peacefully in the market here. The authorities concerned should find a solution to this problem.

Contaminated water in rivers, rivulets of bbn belt

CONTAMINATED water is being dumped in rivers and rivulets by some industries of the Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh belt. This is very dangerous and could lead to the spread of various diseases among the people. This is leading to water being polluted in the area. The practice of dumping harmful chemical waste in water bodies needs to be stopped immediately. The government is requested to take action against such industries.
