THERE are no dustbins along the Circular road in Shimla. Due to this, people are throwing garbage, especially plastic bottles and wrappers of eatables, in open areas. This is not only degrading the environment, but also marring the beauty of the town. The MC authorities are requested to install dustbins on this road. —Rakesh, Shimla

Stones falling from hill

STONES are falling from the hill near the fruit market in Bhatta Kuffar due to the rains, leaving arthiyas and orchardists worried. This matter needs to be dealt with immediately or else it could lead to landslides in the coming days. This could also affect apple growers as the season is set to start this month and will continue till October. —Prakash, Shimla
