THE Shimla-Hatkoti road near Khada Pathar is in a bad shape and needs to be repaired as soon as possible. The road is dotted with potholes. Due to this, drivers face difficulties while commuting through this stretch. The road is important for the Jubbal-Rohru area residents as it connects the area with the state’s capital, and, therefore, it should be in a better condition. —Arun, Rohru

IGMC strike troubles patients

PATIENTS visiting Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Shimla, are facing a lot of inconvenience due to the ongoing strike at the hospital. Patients have to wait in queues for hours to get the hospital slip for check-ups. The hospital authorities should resolve this matter as patients from far-flung areas and poor families are suffering the most. —Aditya, Shimla

Debris on Taradevi-Totu road

DEBRIS can be found at various points on the Taradevi-Totu road, causing the stretch of the road to become congested. As a result, commuters have to face a lot of inconvenience while driving through this road, and also have to face delays due to traffic jams.
