Asection of the road at the Sanjauli chowk in Shimla is in a poor condition that causes inconvenience to commuters while plying their vehicles on the road. The accident-prone patch makes the area particularly unsafe for pedestrians as well commuters travelling at night. Thyroid, diabetes tests not being done at IGMC
PATIENTS have been facing inconvenience at Indira Gandhi Medical College as thyroid and diabetes tests are not being done in the labs. As a result, patients have to travel and wait for hours to get these tests done from private labs. To make matters worse, they rarely get the test reports on the same day due to which they have to visit hospital multiple times for diagnosis. Kanta, Shimla

Poor roads have orchadists worried
THE roads in Taklech in Rampur subdivision are damaged and potholed due to which orchardists here are concerned about safely transporting the apple produce to the fruit markets. The potholed roads make it very risky for the drivers to commute safely, especially during the wee hours. The authorities concerned are requested to repair the roads for the convenience of the orchardists as well as other commuters. Pritam, rampur
