The newly appointed Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Vinay Kumar said social media and IT cell of the party would be strengthened to combat the BJP on social media.

“As soon as the executive committees of the Pradesh Congress Committee, district and blocks are formed, various cells will be formed. Social media and IT cell will be strengthened to give a befitting reply to the BJP propaganda on social media,” said Vinay Kumar. “The Congress will emerge in new form in the state and will move forward in complete coordination with the government,” he said.

The party president is also keen on forming special teams of youth, including women, to carry the ideas of the party down to the booth level.

The new HPCC president is in Delhi for a few days, meeting the top brass and other leaders of the party. Kumar has assured the party high command that he would give new direction to the organization in the state and will take the ideas of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on patriotism, public opinion and Constitution to every person in the state.
