The Manali police today arrested Rekha (28), a resident of Dhar Chanana village in Kupvi tehsil of Shimla, on the charge of criminal conspiracy in the murder of her husband Subhash Chand (32), whose body was found in an orchard at Aleo village on August 1.

The police had earlier arrested Rajiv Kumar (32), a resident of Bajthal village in Nerwa tehsil of Shimla district, and Birbal (32), a resident of Roling village in Paddhar tehsil of Mandi, on August 2.

The SP said that initially, it seemed a blind murder case but the suspects made contradictory statements during interrogation. He added that a vital lead was gathered from the mobile phone details of the suspects.
