A district-level workshop was held under the ‘’Mukhya Mantri Bal Suposhan Yojna’’, to spread awareness about malnutrition and stunting among the children in Theog on Tuesday.

Women and Child Development (WCD) Director Rupali Thakur presided over the workshop. Thakur said the scheme focuses on seven approaches, which are early detection and treatment of diarrhoea, intensified monitoring and care of high risk groups, addition of protein rich food for high-risk children and improved feeding practices, interventions for anaemia in children and adolescent girls, detection of high-risk pregnancies, treatment and follow up of malnourished children and social behaviour change strategies.
