Yoga Olympiad: Saina, Bhavna qualify for Nationals

The state-level yoga Olympiad was successfully organised on May 29 at Government Senior Secondary School, Nadaun (District Hamirpur). Representing Shimla district in the Under-17 category, Saina and Bhavna of Class 10 from Government Model Girls Senior Secondary School, Portmore (Shimla), participated in the competition.

Displaying an excellent performance, both students secured the first position. Based on their outstanding achievement, they have been selected for the National-Level Yoga Olympiad, which will be held from June 15 to 18, in Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu).

Upon their return, Saina and Bhavna received a grand welcome on the school campus. Principal Rakhi Pandit and other teachers congratulated Saina and Bhavna for their remarkable achievement.
