Youth arrested with 10.50 grams of heroin

The SIU while patrolling the Parwanoo received a tip-off that a car coming from Pinjore and moving towards Timber Trail Chowk near Parwanoo, was carrying heroin.
The police team also learnt that the car was driven by a youth named Manendra, alias Montu, who has been involved in selling heroin since a long time.
Accroding to information, the contraband was slated for sale in Dharampur, Kumarhatti, Solan, etc. Acting on this information, the SIU stopped the vehicle and on checking recovered 10.50 grams heroin from his possession”informed SP Solan Gaurav Singh.
Montu (37), is a resident of Dharampur. He has been booked under section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Additionally, the car involved in the case has been impounded. He was remanded to five days police custody.
