In a joint operation by the BSF as well as the Excise and Narcotics Department of Mizoram, methamphetamine and heroin worth Rs 26 crore has been seized and twoMyanmar nationals have also been arrested.

Official sources said on November 19, acting on a tip-off regarding the trafficking of suspected narcotic substances between Seling and Aizawl, a joint operation was launched. The team intercepted two suspects riding two scooters on NH-6 between Seling and Tuirial in Aizawl.
