A speeding car collided with a truck in Rajasthan's Sirohi district on Thursday, leaving six people dead, police said.

The accident occurred near Kivrali village on Abu Road, Mount Abu Circle officer Gomaram said.

The deceased were identified as Narayan Prajapat, his wife Poshi Devi, son Dushyant, driver Kaluram and two others.

They were residents of Ahmedabad.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
