Following India’s ceasefire announcement with Pakistan, the Congress on Saturday urged the government to convene an all-party meeting and also hold a special Parliament session to discuss the events of the last over two weeks.

MP and Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, “In view of the unprecedented announcements from Washington DC, there is now a need, more than ever before, for the PM to chair an all-party meeting and take political parties into confidence.”
