The Mumbai Police had sent two proposals regarding his extradition, the official said, adding that multiple cases were registered against the gangster across the country, and the Centre would decide to which agency his custody should be given first.

A little over a year after Siddique was murdered, his son Zeeshan Siddique expressed happiness after he received news of Anmol’s deportation.

Zeeshan told mediapersons that Anmol should be interrogated regarding his father’s murder. He had been seeking his extradition for a long time.
