Nearly three months after the declaration of Jharkhand election results, the BJP parliamentary board on Wednesday kick-started the process of selection of the Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly.

The party appointed two central observers for conducting the meeting of BJP MLAs to pick the leader of the state legislature party.

The observers are Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav and BJP national OBC cell chairman K Laxman. The BJP had lost the Jharkhand elections with Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s JMM-led INDIA bloc retaining power in the state.
