The Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) on Thursday said its affiliates, including the BJP, were "self sufficient" and "capable of choosing their leaders".Sunil Ambekar, RSS all-India communications in-charge, said all 32 affiliates of the RSS were free to take decisions on their internal matters. He was speaking on the eve of a three-day coordination meeting, which the RSS will hold with its affiliates in Jodhpur from tomorrow.
A total of 320 delegates -- including BJP chief JP Nadda and general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh -- from all RSS-linked organisations will attend the meeting. The meeting comes soon after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat clarified there was no quarrel between the RSS and the BJP and that the BJP was independent to take its decisions.

The election of the BJP chief has been delayed with Bhagwat saying: "If we were deciding, it would not take this long." Nadda has overstayed in the post for over a year now.
