A BSF jawan was abducted miscreants from Bangladesh during a routine patrol near the Biral border in Dinajpur.

He was later released by Border Guards Bangladesh after a meeting was held between the sector commanders, sources said. The BSF has lodged a formal protest against the act. The incident involved a group of 15 to 20 illegal Bangladeshi miscreants who crossed into the Indian territory and forcibly took the BSF jawan to Bangladesh, official sources said.
