Congress General Secretary and I/C Communications Jairam Ramesh said, “This is a direct consequence of the pakoda-nomics that the non-biological PM has created. Pakodas for the masses, halwa for the chosen few!” The Global Wage Report puts out that the shares of low-paid wage workers and low-paid non-wage workers declined at an average annual rate of 6.3 and 12.7 per cent, respectively, between 2008 and 2018.
