As India firms up its response in the wake of Pakistan’s continuing hostilities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met a group of armed forces veterans to seek their guidance and engage with them on the evolving situation.

The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s residence and included extensive interaction on the current challenges facing the nation.

According to sources, the PM said that the country needs veterans and their guidance at this time.

The group included former Chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as other senior veterans who have extensively served the country.
