ED raids premises of Jaypee Infratech, associated entities in fund diversion case

Searches being conducted on 15 premises located in Delhi NCR and Mumbai, say sources

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) is conducting searches in a PMLA case related to major realtors like Jaypee Infratech and Jaypee Associates among others for fraud with homebuyers and investors of around Rs 12,000 crore and siphoning as well as diversion of funds.

The searches, which began on Friday morning, are being conducted on 15 premises located in Delhi NCR and Mumbai, including Jaypee Associates and its associated entities, Gaursons, Gulshan, Mahagun and Suraksha Reality, sources informed.
