A traffic signboard in Bengaluru has caused a stir among drivers, as its initial message led to some confusion and laughter.

The sign advising drivers to ‘Follow Someone Home’, raised eyebrows until a closer look revealed its true intention.

Designed by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), the sign aimed to promote road safety by urging drivers to follow traffic rules with the message, ‘Follow traffic rules. Someone is waiting at home for you.’

However, the difference in font size between the initial directive and the rest of the message led to humorous misinterpretations.

Shared on social media by Sumukh Rao on X, the signboard quickly gained attention, with many users finding amusement in the unintended double-meaning.
