Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will be on a two-day official visit to Nepal from August 11 and 12 at the invitation of Nepal Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal.

Misri, who took over on July 15, made his first foreign visit to Bhutan last month.

The bilateral cooperation between India and Nepal has strengthened in recent years. “The Foreign Secretary’s visit will be an opportunity to further advance our bilateral ties,” the Ministry of External Affairs said.
