The health condition of Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs who were admitted to Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital following injuries sustained during a scuffle outside Parliament on Thursday, is better.

RML Medical Superintendent Dr Ajay Shukla on Friday said, “The health status of the MPs’ is better today. However, they are under observation. Pratap Sanrangi is a heart patient and Mukesh Rajput has low blood sugar level. Their BP is normal. They are in the ICU at present. Both the CT scan and MRI reports are normal.”

Shukla said that upon arrival, Sarangi was bleeding profusely.

“The cut was deep over his eyebrow. He got stitches for injuries. Today both the leaders will be in the ICU. Senior doctors will take a call on future course of action,” Shukla added.
