Flight 6E 2111, bound for Delhi, was accelerating on the runway when the pilot noticed the problem. Following standard safety procedures, the captain applied brakes and brought the aircraft to a complete stop before the end of the runway. All passengers and crew were safe.
According to airline sources, the takeoff was discontinued due to a technical issue detected during the initial roll. The aircraft was brought back to the bay in line with operating procedures.
IndiGo later arranged an alternative aircraft, and passengers continued their journey to Delhi after a short delay.
Engineers were called in to inspect the aircraft, and airport operations remained unaffected.
