The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has again summoned Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in connection with an ongoing investigation into the now-scrapped liquor policy “scam”.

Summoned sixth time, AAP chief Kejriwal has been told to appear before the probe agency on February 19. He was earlier called on February 2, January 18 and January 3 this year and December 21 and November 2 in 2023. The CM has described the ED summons as “illegal”.

The sixth summons has been issued days after a Delhi court, acting on a complaint filed by the ED, had asked Kejriwal to appear before it on February 17. The court had noted that prima facie he was “legally bound” to comply with the summons.
