Kejriwal receives 7th ED summons
New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday issued seventh summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a money laundering case linked to the Delhi excise policy case, asking him to appear before it on February 26. ST panel visits Sandeshkhali
Kolkata: A team of the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), which reached trouble-torn Sandeshkhali in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district on Thursday morning, has received over 23 complaints of forcible land grabbing and torture during their interaction with locals there, a senior official said. NCST acting vice-chairperson Ananta Nayak said they had also received complaints against a politician, which they would include in their report to the President, the official said. PTI
Tejas-flying squadron to get President’s Colour
New Delhi: Indian Air Force’s 45 Squadron that flies the indigenous Tejas fighter jet and the 221 Squadron that flies the Sukhoi 30 MKI jets are among the four units selected to receive the President’s Colour from President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony on March 8. Mumbai: Dubai has introduced a five-year multiple-entry visa to boost travel between India and the Gulf nation, according to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. In 2023, Dubai welcomed 2.46 million overnight visitors from India, which is a 25% increase from the pre-pandemic era.
