A Kolkata-based photographer was bludgeoned to death by his live-in partner hours after he reportedly shared a ‘family’ photo of him with the woman and her son on his social media account.

As per reports, the 32-year-old Sarthak Das was living in a rented accommodation with the accused woman, Sanhati Paul, a divorcee who has a son. The two had been having a lot of fights recently.

The accused, a makeup artist, allegedly stabbed Das multiple times with a knife and herself called the police to confess for the crime.

After the police reached the spot, Das was rushed to a nearby hospital but he was declared brought dead.

The man had reportedly shared some pictures with the woman with hashtags such as ‘betterhalf’, ‘loveofmylife’, etc. However, the ‘family’ captioned post was not visible on his profile anymore.

According to reports, the woman during police interrogation confessed to murdering Das; though the reason behinds it was yet to be ascertained.
