Manohar Lal lays foundation stone for 1,000-seater auditorium in UP

REC Limited has committed Rs 7.02 crore for the project under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative

Minister Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal laid the foundation stone for the state-of-the-art 1,000-seater community auditorium in Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

The auditorium is being jointly funded by REC, PFC and NTPC. REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU and a leading NBFC under the Ministry of Power, has committed Rs 7.02 crore for the project under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, a press release said.

The ceremony was attended by the Executive Director (CSR) of REC Limited, other senior officials, and local residents. The construction of the auditorium is expected to be completed within a stipulated timeframe.
