India and China on Wednesday discussed how to resume their stalled dialogue and address each other’s priority areas of interest and concern. Besides, further progress has been made on the modalities to resume Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2025.

The Ministry of External Affairs informed the public about the outcome of a ‘consultative meeting’ at Beijing on Wednesday. Gourangalal Das, Joint Secretary (East Asia), led the Indian delegation; while Liu Jinsong, Director General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led his country. The two sides took stock of the planned exchanges and activities this year.
